Preserving Session #1, Sydney
Happily, our first preserving session of the season was led by the esteemed Aunty Beryl from Yaama Dhiyaan. Despite torrential rain, Aunty Beryl showed a keen bunch of preservers how to make a munthari berry and apple sauce. We filled a collection of tiny jars and ranged over such topics as prejudice amongst market-goers, the importance of education, slow food, and Aunty Beryl’s travels to Rome.
