Preserving in Woolloomooloo #2
Join us for the second preserving session held as part the NSW Visual Arts Fellowship exhibition at Artspace.
This week we’re taking the cart out of the gallery for a spin around the neighbourhood. To begin, we are very lucky to have the excellent Jacqui Newling, Colonial Gastronomer, sharing what she knows about lillypilly jelly and the delectable-sounding ‘bletted medlars’. If you have another recipe you’d like to try, or teach, get in touch and we’ll bring along the ingredients. Surplus produce or herbs/fruit from the garden are always welcome.
12:30pm – 3:30pm
Woolloomooloo Community Garden (near the corner of Dowling St and Sydney Place)
(or just come to Artspace at 12pm for directions)
Numbers are limited. RSVP by emailing: makingtime@makeshift.com.a
